Hello, I’m Amélie, welcome to Dial a Dog Wash Windsor, Reading East and Surrounding areas.

I offer a professional mobile grooming service for dogs of all sizes.

I provide one on one care, take my time to understand your dog’s boundaries, grooming only few dogs per day, to build trust and leave your dog feeling pampered. Seeing dogs gain in confidence at each appointment is a great joy, especially seeing the happy face of a returning pup.

I enjoy providing a meaningful, reliable and tailored service especially to those who can’t go the salon, including nervous dogs who need their space and a familiar environment, as well as Very Important Puppies who prefer a personal touch. As the owner of an anxious dog myself, I appreciate how stressful some situations can be and how much of a relief the 1 to 1 at home service can bring.

About the service

I cover Windsor, Reading East (Earley and Woodley) and surrounding areas including Ascot, Bracknell, Wokingham, Maidenhead and South East Slough.

I offer bathing, full blow-dries, de-shedding, clipping/trimming/tidying of coat, nail clipping, as well as gentle non-invasive ear and teeth cleaning.

Convenient and reliable

I will come with my van to your chosen location whether it is at home or place of work at a time that suits your schedule. Before and during the appointment you can vacate to your activities without the stress of travelling and finding a parking space.

To operate I just need to park on your drive or an authorised parking space next to your home or preferred location and have access to an electrical supply.

Reducing stress and building trust

Your dog will be groomed in their familiar environment, just a few meters away from you, which can provide reassurance to nervous dogs or elderly dogs, and give them one-on-one attention throughout the appointment.

Your dog will always be groomed by me which provides a chance for us to develop a relationship and a routine your dog can get used to.

I allow some extra time to get to know you and your dog, to make you both feel comfortable and discussing your preferences.

Kind and calm

I follow positive reinforcement principles and adjust handling to your dog’s preferred way. If a dog is anxious of grooming, I take things slowly, modify the groom and focus on the priority areas and finding methods of working your dog will be comfortable with. I gently restrain dogs for their safety with a secure harness or strap and never use crates or cages. 

Qualitative

I use high quality products and adapt their use to the specific coat and skin of your dog. I enjoy taking the time I need to achieve the best haircut and finish I can whilst respecting your dog’s comfort and safety.

A clean and adapted environment for your dog’s comfort and safety

My mobile dog grooming parlour is custom built and designed to keep your pup at the right temperature all year round with fresh warm water, air conditioning in summer, heating in winter, and includes comfort adjustments to the environment such as non-slip mats, happy hoodies, comfy table mats. My services are fully insured and I am trained in canine first aid.
